Five by Five wanted to build its credentials as a launch specialist agency. Working with Velvet, the agency devised a consumer survey which sought to discover consumer attitudes to product launches and the communication around it. The research identified key trends in product launching and also discovered that product launches failed to excite consumers.
Velvet secured an exclusive in Marketing Week and followed that up with press releases adapted for each of the agency’s target verticals. Coverage was secured within the FMCG, Retail and Cosmetics press.
The research served as the basis for Five by Five’s launch proposition, and since 2015 Velvet has worked with the agency to provide commentary pieces on the worlds biggest launches, launch marketing tactics and more.
